Hanging out by the canal, dropping some freestyles innit…
…Improvisation yeah.

Once upon a time we did these videos for the good people at Once Upon A Grime, they called them ‘freestyles’ but they’re actually just verses. The videos were shot at the offices for King Apparel who took their clothes back after the shoot. #thuglife
Because of the crackin time we had over the fireworks weekend and at Hoochinoo, we decided to put out the second video from “Operation: Zombie Nation” – “Survival Guide”. The video was shot at Brighton’s “Beach of the Dead” Zombie march 2010 by Joe Conner and additional footage by Mike Massaro.

Today’s featured artist is our good friend and brother in the war against general fuckery Seeds. A truly creative chap, Seeds bounces between graf, painting, music production, rapping and a spot of online journalism too, he also has some of the most amazing life stories you’ll hear this side of Hunter S Thompson.
In his graf he has collaborated with a whole host of artists and groups over the years and as a promoter in Birmingham he was involved in some legendary raves and events including The Big Dirty, Secret Wars and more. He has also been involved with various online magazines such as Spinner? and now #Headsknow, developing a journalistic approach that is as gritty and real as the subjects he covers, portraying the artists he features in as natural a light as possible.
Under the moniker Seedy Ron, he dropped his debut LP History Of The Future in April of this year. The album is sort of a journey through a day in the life of hip hop’s Alan Partridge, Seeds takes us into the depths of his world over some lush production from the likes of Dan DNA, Rockstar and Mr Ron himself. Couple this with features from a whole host of MC’s, including DDF’s Prymary Source (Bill Daggs) and Elian Gray, along with some ace cuts from Mr Frendo, and you’ve got yourself the makings of an underground classic. Seeds has been a hip hop head probably as long as I’ve been alive and this definately shows on the record, old school listeners might find themselves feeling vaguely nostalgic at the albums whole pace and feeling, I certainly did, and I liked it (although I’m just saying that cos I’m on it).
Rumor has it that now he has got his reminiscence of his chest he will be ditching the Seedy Ron alias and releasing something new, known only so far as #ENHP. He is also in the process of developing the #Headsknow site, and hopefully writing his memoirs, keep your eyes out for all of the above.

In August 2011, “Being Watched” got a brand spanking new video, so we got some remixes together from various producers in the fam, re-packaged it with some fantastic new artwork from Nottingham’s own Rikki Marr and put it on bandcamp as a free download (which includes the video in the download package).
The video was shot and directed by Christian West, and features Undali’s Cuntstubble Laggins, Wyt Fang and our boy Kai Owens.
On 11.09.11, we released this video.
